PUBLIC RECORD’S POLICY

 

 

The Village of Jeffersonville’s Office acknowledges that it maintains many records that are used in the administration and operation of the Villages’ Office. The records maintained by the Village Office and the ability to access them are a means to provide trust between the public and the Village. Subject to legal review of requested documents, the Village maintains its records in a manner which allows the Record’s Custodian to provide the general public prompt inspection of the Village Office public records, and copies of these records within a reasonable amount of time during its regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The Village Office has a Public Records Policy and a Schedule of Records Retention and Disposition, a copy of which is available to the public upon request.
